We are not psychics. We are not spiritual gurus. We are a collective of data scientists, statisticians, and consumer advocates who noticed a massive, multi-million dollar industry operating entirely without empirical oversight.
Our Origin Story
The idea for this project began in late 2022 when one of our lead analysts attempted to find a reliable online tarot reader for a personal project. They immediately encountered an ecosystem flooded with subjective claims, vague "Top 10" lists written by marketers, and an utter lack of verifiable data.
We realized that while we cannot empirically prove or disprove the metaphysical mechanics of a psychic reading, we can empirically measure consumer satisfaction, pricing arbitrage, and the linguistic patterns that separate a high-value reading from a scam.
What We Do
We build scrapers, we train Natural Language Processing (NLP) models, and we run regression analyses on thousands of customer interactions within the online psychic industry. Our goal is to translate a highly subjective experience into actionable, objective data.
By mapping out pricing curves, variance in reading quality, and platform-specific satisfaction scores, we aim to protect consumers from predatory practices and guide them toward platforms that mathematically demonstrate the highest value-to-cost ratios.
Our Core Tenets
- 1Data Over Anecdote: We do not rely on "vibes" or single experiences. Our conclusions are drawn from aggregated datasets consisting of hundreds or thousands of verified user interactions.
- 2Radical Transparency: Our methodologies are public. We explain exactly how we calculate our Normalized Satisfaction Scores and acknowledge the statistical limitations of our models.
- 3Consumer Protection: The esoteric industry is ripe for exploitation. We highlight pricing anomalies (like the Veblen Good effect in luxury psychics) to help users optimize their spending.
